According to a news report posted on MSNBC today, Feb. 19, 2008, Hillary Clinton’s remarks to an audience at the Yearly Kos convention of bloggers last year was that she would continue to take contributions from lobbyists because lobbyists represent “Real Americans”. What did Hillary mean? If the lobbyists are the “Real Americans”, then who are We? Are we the “Real Americans” only when she can rally our votes? Hillary Clinton like John McCain is just another politician who has stayed in Washington too long and would say anything [just words] to get our votes and sell us to trade deals like NAFTA. McCain is saying in his campaign stomp that “he has heard the American people” and he would seal the border when he becomes president [just words]. Why did he not think about sealing the border as a member of congress all these years [just words]? The American people deserve better.

[But she has also sought, often successfully, to win support and campaign contributions from an array of business leaders, including John J. Mack, the chairman of Morgan Stanley and one of the Republican Party’s biggest fund-raisers. And she infuriated many liberals last year when she told an audience at the Yearly Kos convention of bloggers that she would continue to take contributions from lobbyists because they “represent real Americans.” ]
